"TROUT POND EXHIBIT—ITS SURPRISING HISTORY REVEALED"  will be on display Saturday, August 2, 2008 through Sunday, September 14. Hours are Saturdays and Sundays 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Old photos, paintings, maps, and stories illustrate the pond’s history including mills, Annie Cooper Boyd’s 1890s paintings, the Eldridges and their homestead, Henry Chadwick Father of Baseball, Oak Grove Resort & Trout Farm, the Hermit of Trout Pond, famous artists, and preservation by Southampton Town.

Admission is free.
