Horses on Trails Ride. Members are encouraged to schedule and lead rides on your favorite trails. Choose date & time. BYO horse. Call with ideas & to see what’s on the schedule. Sat., Aug. 1- The Swamp Hikes. 9:00-11:00AM. A two for one summer bargain. Meet at the intersection of Millstone Brook & Scott Roads, Southampton. 3 miles.  Insect spray a good idea. Tony Garro, 725-5861.

Sun., Aug. 2- Sears Loop. 9:00-11:00AM. Meet on Red Creek Rd., Hampton Bays (100 yards east of Rte. 24). 4 miles, some hills. Jim Crawford, 369-2341.

Thurs. Aug. 6-S.T.P.S. Monthly Meeting. 7:00 PM-9:00 PM. Meet at Southampton Town Hall lower level meeting room. All are welcome. Glorian Berk, 283-2638.

Sat., Aug. 8-Elliston Park. 9:00-11:00 AM. Meet at the Park on Millstone Brook Rd., Southampton. 3 miles, some hills. Howard Reisman, 283-5376.

Sun., Aug. 9-Kayak Sag Harbor Cove. 9:00-11:00 AM. BYO kayak & life vest. Take Cove Rd. East (off Noyac Rd.) to water. Glorian Berk, 283-2638.

Sat., Aug. 15-Anna & Daniel Mulvihill Preserve. 9:00-11:00 AM. Meet at Sag Harbor Industries on Bridgehampton Tpk. (opposite Verizon). 4 miles, some hills. Joe Lane, 725-3942.

Sun., Aug. 16-Vineyard Field/Greenbelt. 8:00-10:00 AM. 4 miles, pond views. Meet at South Fork Natural History Museum, 377 Bridgehampton Tpk., Bridgehampton. Dai Dayton, 745-0689.

Sun., Aug. 16- Manorville Hills. 1:00 PM-2:30PM. Meet at the parking lot on C.R. 111; 2.5 miles north of Rte. 27 (Exit 62). 2 hilly miles, Tom Stock, 727-5250.

Sat., Aug. 22- Barcelona Neck. 9:30-11:30AM. Meet at the parking lot of Sag Harbor Golf Club (off Rte. 114), Sag Harbor. 3 miles; woods & water. Bill Schildknecht, 725-2888.

Sun., Aug. 23- Scallop Pond Paddle. 9:00-11:00AM. Meet at the end of Scallop Pond Rd. (a dirt road off Scott Rd.), North Sea. BYO kayak & life vest). Sue & Ken Bieger, 283-5432.

Sat., Aug. 29- From Stone to Stone. 9:00-11:00 AM. Meet at the end of Bridge Hill Lane (off Brick Kiln Rd.). 4 hilly miles along the moraine. Tony Garro, 725-5861.

Sat., Aug. 29-Narrow Lane Clean-up. 8:00-9:00AM. Help clean our adopted road. Meet at Narrow & Norris Lanes. Bring gloves and wear tick protection.  Bridgehampton. Dai Dayton, 745-0689.

Sun., Aug. 30-Whiskey Hill. 8:00-9:30AM. Meet at the end of Mill Rd. (off Lopers Path), Bridgehampton. Fast paced, 2 miles, ocean view. Dai Dayton, 745-0689.
