Sat., Sept. 2-Long Pond Greenbelt.  8AM-10AM.  Hike the beauty of the Greenbelt through woods, past glacial ponds.  Meet at the South Fork Natural History Museum (SOFO) on Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor Tpk.  5 miles, brisk pace.

Sun., Sept. 3-Fair Hills and Great Swamp. 9AM-11AM.Meet on Brick Kiln Road (across from Bridge Hill Lane), Bridgehampton. Explore Great Swamp, the moraine and many ponds and streams on this 5-mile loop.

Sat., Sept. 9-Top of the Moraine Trek. 9AM-11:30AM. Hike west from Laurel Valley on the backbone of the south fork. Beautiful woods with water views along the Paumanok Path. Meet at Deerfield Road in Noyac (across from Deerwood Path). Hilly 5 miles.

Sun., Sept. 10 -Long Pond Greenbelt North Loop. 9AM-11:30AM. Meet at Mashashimuet Park, Sag Harbor. Hike through this glacially created green pond belt. 5 miles at a brisk pace.

Sat., Sept. 16-Poxabogue/Sag Swamp Meander. 9AM-11AM. Meet at the park entrance on Old Farm Road in Sagaponack. Easy 3-mile hike with views of grasslands, ponds, forests and swamps.

Sat., Sept. 16-Northwest Path Horseback Ride. 10AM-Noon. BYO horse, limit 6 riders. Meet at Wainscott Harbor Road and Merchants Path.

Sun., Sept 17-Harborfest Maritime Tour. 9:30-Noon. Learn about colorful captains, fierce whales, early B&Bs on this tour of Sag Harbor’s maritime past. Meet by the windmill on Long Wharf in Sag Harbor.

Sat., Sept. 23-Trout Pond to Long Pond Trek. 9AM-Noon. Watch the season change on this challenging 6-mile hike over the glacial moraine. Meet at the Trout Pond parking lot on Noyac Road in Noyac.

Sun., Sept.24-Trifecta Trek. 9AM-Noon. 3 for 1; Big Woods/Elliston/Wolf Swamp loops. Great variety in this easy paced 4-mile hike. Meet at the intersection of Millstone Brook Road and Scott Road in Southampton.

Sat., Sept. 30-Elliston Park Adventure. Meet at the park entrance on Millstone Brook Road, Southampton. Views of Big Fresh Pond, Scallop Pond and Wolf Swamp. Easy pace, 4-mile hike.
