Sun., Oct. 1- Vinyard Field. 9:30AM-11:30AM. Hike through a retired vineyard to Crooked Pond and watch the season change. See an invasive species reclamation project in progress. Meet at the South Fork Natural History Museum parking lot on Bridgehampton Turnpike. 4 miles.

Thurs., Oct. 5-S.T.P.S. Monthly Meeting. 7PM-9PM. Meet at Southampton Town Hall meeting room. All are welcome.

Sat., Oct. 14-Barcelona Neck. 10AM-Noon. Meet at the parking lot of the Sag Harbor Golf Club on Barcelona Point Road (off Rte 114), Sag Harbor. Moderate 4-mile hike with many water views. Joe Lane, 631-725-3942.

Sun., Oct. 15-Tuckahoe Woods. 10AM-11:30AM. Hike a loop trail through interesting woods along parts of the Paumanok Path. 3 miles at a moderate pace. Meet at the intersection of N. Magee St. and Sebonac Road, Southampton.

Sat., Oct. 21-Long Pond Horseback Ride. 10AM-Noon. BYO horse, limit 6 riders. Meet at the end of Round Pond Lane (off Sag Road), Sag Harbor.

Sat., Oct.21-Paumanok Path. 10AM-?. Hike a new section of the Paumanok Path to
the East Hampton border followed by lunch at the Val Schafter House, compliments
of the Southampton Trails Society. Meet at the Schafter house driveway on the
east side of Bridgehampton Turnpike (just north of Scuttlehole Road).

Sun., Oct. 22-Paumanok Path. 9AM. Challenging 12.5 mile hike with the East
Hampton Trails Society. First of a 4 part reprise of the entire 42 mile East
Hampton segment of the Paumanok Path. Bring food and fluids. Meet at the
intersection of Soak Hides Road and Springy Banks Road in East Hampton.
