Most Thursdays S.T.P.S. has a work party. Volunteers are always welcome. Call Ken Bieger, 631-283-5432.

 

Thurs., Nov. 2 - S.T.P.S. Monthly Meeting. 7PM-9PM. Meet at Southampton Town Hall basement meeting room. All are welcome. Glorian Berk, 631-283-2638.

 

Sat., Nov. 4 - Mulvihill/Great Swamp. 10AM-Noon. Meet at Sag Harbor Industries on Sag Harbor/Bridgehampton Tpk., Sag Harbor. Hike 4 miles through this beautiful, magical wood. Moderate pace.  Joe Lane, 631-725-3942.

 

Sat., Nov. 4 - Monthly Work Party. Call Ken Kindler for time and place. 631-563-4354.

 

Sun., Nov. 5 - Red Creek Ramble. 10AM-Noon. Meet at the parking lot of Red Creek Park on Old Riverhead Road, Hampton Bays. Moderate paced, 4 miles with views of Penny Pond along parts of the Paumanok Path. Claude Debeaumon, 631-728-8667.

 

Sat., Nov 11 - Laurel Valley. 10AM-Noon. Meet at the kiosk on Deerfield Road in Noyac across from Deerwood Path.  There is still some color in “them there hills”. Glorian Berk, 631-283-2638.

 

Sun., Nov. 12 - Northwest Pine Forest. 10AM-Noon. Meet at the kiosk on Rte. 114 (east side about 8/10 of a mile south of Swamp Road ), East Hampton. Brisk 4 mile hike through hardwood/white pine forests. You can still catch some color. Chip Dineen, 646-221-8225.

 

Sat., Nov. 18 - Elliston Park. 10AM-Noon. Meet at the park entrance on Millstone Brook Road, Southampton. Views of Big Fresh and Scallop Ponds and Wolf Swamp as a bonus. Moderate pace, 4 miles. Howard Reisman, 631-283-5376.

 

Sun., Nov. 19 - Barcelona Neck. 10AM-12:30PM. Meet at the Sag Harbor Golf Club parking lot on Barcelona Point Road (off Rte. 114), Sag Harbor. Brisk 5 mile hike. Woods, water, swamp and some history. Dianne Rulnick, 631-726-5903.

 

Fri., Nov. 24 - Annual Walk It Off Walk. 10AM-Noon. Meet at the end of Round Pond Lane (off Sag Road), Sag Harbor. Brisk pace to shed the turkey and stuffing. Dai Dayton, 631-537-0660.

 

Sat., Nov. 25 - Narrow Lane Cleanup. 8AM-9AM. Help pick litter from our adopted road. Dai Dayton, 631-537-0660.

 

Sat.,Nov. 25 - SOFO Surprise. 10AM-Noon. Meet at the South Fork Natural History Museum parking lot on Bridgehampton/ Sag Harbor Tpk. 4 miles, moderate pace. Tony Garro, 631-725-5861.

 

Sun., Nov. 26 - Bald Hill Adventure. 10AM-Noon. Meet on Speonk Riverhead Road on the east side about ¼ mile north of Suffolk Community College. A new hike through interesting woods, moderate pace but hilly. Ken Bieger, 631-283-5432.

 

Sun., Nov. 26 - Northwest Equestrian Event. 10AM-Noon. Meet on Narrow Lane (east end across from Wolffer Estate Winery) BYO horse, limit 6 riders. Dai Dayton, 631-537-0660.
