GREAT EAST END CLEAN UP – APRIL 22 9 AM-NOON. PLEASE CALL DAI DAYTON 631-537-0660 OR TONY GARRO 631-725-5861 FOR MEETING PLACE.

Thurs., May 4-S.T.P.S. Monthly Meeting. 7PM-9PM. Meet in the meeting room in the basement of Town Hall, Hampton Road, Southampton. All are welcome. Glorian Berk, 631-283-2638.

Sat., May 6-Mulvihill Preserve Trek. 10AM-Noon. Moderately paced 4 mile hike through this historic and enchanting area. Meet on Brick Kiln Road (opposite Bridge Hill Lane ), Bridgehampton. Glorian Berk, 631-283-2638.

Sun., May 7-Red Creek Ramble. 10AM-Noon. Moderate paced 3 mile hike with views of Penny Pond. Meet at the parking lot of Red Creek Town Park on Old Riverhead Road, Hampton Bays. Claude Debeaumon, 631-728-8667.

Sat., May 13-Whiskey Hill Walk. 10AM-11:30AM. Moderate paced hike with ocean views, 2 kettlehole ponds and an enormous glacial erratic. All this in less than 2 miles. WOW! Claude Debeaumon, 631-728-8667.

Sat., May 13-SOFO Full Moon. 7:30PM-9:30PM. Meet at South Fork Natural History Museum parking lot on Bridgehampton Tpk. Bridgehampton. A full moon hike around Vineyard Field watching the Flower Moon rise. Dai Dayton, 631-537-0660.

Sat., May 13-Narrow Lane Cleanup. 8AM-9AM. Help clean the litter from our adopted road. Meet on Narrow Lane and the east corner of Bridgehampton Tpk. Bring gloves. Dai Dayton 631-537-0660.

Sun., May 14-A Greenbelt Mothers Day. 9AM-11:30AM. Hike the beautiful Long Pond Greenbelt followed by a brunch at the Val Schaftner House. Please RSVP by May 7, 2006. Dai Dayton, 631-537-0660.

Sat., May 20-Elliston Park Passage. 10AM-Noon. Meet at the park entrance on Millstone Brook Road in Southampton and see why this is one of our most popular hikes. 4 miles, moderate pace. Howard Reisman, 631-283-5376.

Sun., May 21-Big Woods Loop. 10AM-Noon. 4 mile hike with views of Wolf Swamp, Big Fresh Pond and Scallop Pond. Meet at the triangle at the intersection of Millstone Brook Road and Scott Road, Southampton. Sue Bieger, 631-283-1548.

Sat., May 27-Trout Pond/Clam Island Ramble. Meet at the Trout Pond parking lot on Noyac Road in Noyac for a hike around this historic Pond; followed by a bay front hike on Clam Island. Easy paced 3 mile hike. Ken Bieger, 631-283-5432.

Sun., May 28-Sag Harbor Patriotic Tour. 10AM-12:30PM. Meet at the windmill on the Long Wharf in Sag Harbor. Take a walk through Sag Harbor’s patriotic history. Visit battle sites and historic houses. Tony Garro, 631-725-5861.

Sun., May 28-Mashomack Trek. 9AM-12:00. Moderately brisk hike through meadows and woods in this beautiful preserve. Approximately $5 for ferry and preserve donation. Call for details. Meet at the North Haven and Shelter Island Ferry. Dianne Rulnick, 631-726-5903.
