Thurs., Sept.1- STPS Monthly Meeting. 7PM-9PM. Our next meeting will be at Southampton Town’s Val Schaffner House on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike (almost immediately north and across from Scuttlehole Road is the dirt driveway with an open gate). Sat., Sept.3- Trout Pond Surprise. 10AM-Noon. Meet at Trout Pond Parking lot on Noyac Road for a brisk hike to the unknown. Chip Dineen, 631-725-8765.
Sat., Sept. 3 – Narrow Lane Cleanup. 8AM-9AM. Help clean our adopted road in the Long Pond Greenbelt. Meet on Narrow Lane, east of Norris Lane. Bring gloves. 631-537-0660.
Sun., Sept.4.-Mashomack Double Whammy. 9AM-2:30PM. 11 mile loop with Dianne Rulnick: 631-726-5903 or 6 mile loop with Tony Garro: 631-725-5861. Bring water and snacks, $6 for ferry and Preserve donation. Moderate pace. Meet at South Ferry on Ferry Road in North Haven.
