November 3, Thursday                                                 WEEKLY TRAIL OUTING

November 5, Saturday, 10 AM-12:30PM                     LIRR TRAIL ADVENTURE.
Easy paced, interpretive hike on the old Long Island Rail Road bed that once connected Sag Harbor to Bridgehampton. 4 miles. Meet at Mashashimuet Park, Sag Harbor.

November 5, Saturday, 8AM-9AM                              NARROW LANE CLEAN UP
Help clean our adopted road in the Long Pond Greenbelt.  Meet on Narrow Lane, east of Norris Lane.  Bring gloves. 631-537-0660
 

November 6, Sunday, 10AM-Noon                             LAUREL VALLEY TREK
Meet at the kiosk on Deerfield Road in Noyac (across from Deerwood Path entrance to Northside Hills).
Moderately paced hike through hilly, autumn colored woods and ravines.

November 12, Saturday, 10AM-Noon                         NORTHWEST ADVENTURE
Meet at end of Northwest Landing Road, East Hampton (near the E. Hampton town boat ramp).  A brisk 3-mile loop through the last frontier with our intrepid leader.

November 13,Sunday, 10 AM-Noon                          RED CREEK PARK EXCURSION
Meet at the parking lot on Old Riverhead Road, Hampton Bays. Moderate hike with views of Penny Pond and possibly beyond?
Directions: Red Creek Park off Jackson Ave in Hampton Bays: From Sunrise Highway "Exit 65N, 24 North, Riverhead". Travel north on C.R. 24 a couple hundred yards. You will see several signs before you bear right onto the turn lane for Old Riverhead Road West. Look for: "State Police", "Town of Southampton Jackson Ave. Offices", and "Town Police". Turn right onto Old Riverhead Road, pass the entrance to Southampton Town Police, make the next left into the park. Where you turn into the park there is a small blue and white sign: "Town of Southampton Red Creek Park". Once on the road into the park, continue past the picnic areas and enter the parking field to the right of the flagpole. Park by the small brown and yellow Southampton Town Trails sign between a basketball court and a baseball diamond. There are Pay Phones and Restrooms near the parking area.

10AM-Noon                          TROUT POND / CLAM ISLAND PASSAGE
Meet at Trout Pond parking lot on Noyac Road in Noyac (across from Mill Road). Easy paced 4-mile hike around historic Trout Pond and Clam Island.

November 19, Saturday, 10AM-Noon              LONG POND GREENBELT HORSEBACK RIDE
BYO Horse. Limit: 6 riders. Meet on Narrow Lane south of Haines Path in Bridgehampton. Leisurely ride with views of Long, Little Long, and Crooked Ponds.

Meet at park entrance on Millstone Brook Road, Southampton. Moderately paced 4-mile hike with views of Big Fresh and Scallop Ponds.

November 25, Friday, 10AM-Noon                                    ANNUAL WALK IT OFF HIKE
Meet at Gingerbread Bake Shop on Bridgehampton Sag Harbor Tpk. for a brisk 5 mile hike to shed that Thanksgiving stuffing.

Meet on Millstone Brook Road (opposite Millstone Lane), Southampton. Moderate 2-mile hike through enchanting woods and wetlands.

November 27, Sunday, 10 AM-Noon                                 LONG POND GREENBELT TREK
Meet at Mashashimuet Park. Watch the season change in this glacially created wonderland. Moderate paced 4 miles.
