Sat., May 1 - Elliston Park Excursion. 10AM-Noon. Meet at the Park entrance on Millstone Brook Road in Southampton for a moderately-paced hike with views of Wolf Swamp and Big Fresh Pond.

Sun.,May 2 - Trout Pond /Clam Island Perambulation. 10AM-11:30AM. Meet at the Trout Pond parking lot on Noyac Road across from Mill Road for an easy, moderately paced 3-4 mile hike around historic Trout pond and Clam Island

County Park with views of Morton Wildlife Refuge.

South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center (SOFO), 377

Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike (1/10 mile north of RR tracks). Bring water and heavy gloves.

Sat.,May 8 – Trail Ride at Deep Hollow Ranch sponsored by Nassau-Suffolk Horsemen’s Association (NSHA). 10AM. Celebrate the newly opened horse trail system that leads along dramatic sections of bluff and thick woodlands to historic Montauk Point and Camp Hero. Horse drawn wagons will be available for passengers, family members and others for a nominal fee. Return to Deep

Hollow for a B-B-Q lunch! Rental horses available. Reservations a must! $25 NSHA members, $30 non-member.

Sun.,May 9 - Laurel Valley Loop. 10:00AM-Noon. Meet at the kiosk located on

Deerfield Road in Noyac across from Deerwood Path (North Side Hills). Fast paced hike through wooded knolls and laurel-filled ravines. Hilly terrain.

Sat.,May 15 – Quogue Wildlife Refuge Roundabout. 10AM-Noon. Meet at the parking lot on Old Country Road. View the Old Ice Pond.

Sun.,May 16 - Northwest Path Hike. 10AM-1:00AM. Meet at intersection of Merchants Path and Wainscott Harbor Road in Bridgehampton. Brisk 7-mile hike. Several hilly loops through oak forest to toyland and whale rock.

Sat.,May 22 – Narrow Lane Cleanup. 8AM-9AM. Help us cleanup the litter from our adopted road. Meet on Narrow Lane, and east corner of Bridgehampton
Turnpike. Bring gloves.

Sat.,May 22 - Paumanok Path to Whiskey Hill Walk In Silence. 10AM-12:30PM. Meet at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor. Silent, leisurely and contemplative 5- mile hike through oak forest with views of glacial erratics and kettleholes. Hilly terrain.

Sun.,May 23 - Mashomack Preserve. 9AM-2PM(4 hour hike & lunch). Meet at the North Haven/Shelter Island Ferry. Moderately brisk 13-mile hike through meadows, woods, and beaches. Spectacular views of north and south forks.
Bring lunch and plenty of water, $5.00/person for Ferry and Preserve Donation.

Long Pond Greenbelt Horseback Ride. 10AM-Noon. BYO Horse. Meet on Narrow Lane south of Haines Path in Bridgehampton. Leisurely ride with views of Long Pond, Little Long Pond, and Crooked Pond.

Thurs., May 27 - Pine Neck Park Excursion. 10AM –11:30PM. Meet at entrance on Head of Lots Road in East Quogue. Moderately-paced with views of marshlands, Weesuck Creek and Shinnecock Bay.

Sat., May 29 - Sag Harbor Patriotic Hike. 10AM-12:30PM. Meet at the windmill on Long Wharf, Sag Harbor. Take an easy-paced walk through Sag Harbor’s patriotic history. Visit battle sites and historic homes of war veterans.

Sun., May 30- Long Pond Greenbelt South Circuit. 8AM-10:30AM. Meet at the

South Fork Natural History Society (SOFO) Museum parking lot on Bridgehampton Turnpike 200 yards north of the RR tracks. Fast paced 5-mile hike through grasslands & oak forest with views of Crooked Pond & Deer Drink.
