Sun., Feb.1-Mulvihill Preserve & Great Swamp Trek. 10AM-Noon. 

Meet at the intersection of Brick Kiln Road & Stoney Hill Road in Sag Harbor.  Explore our newest trail.  Unique and varied terrain with ponds and streams. Moderately paced 4-mile hike.

Sat., Feb.7-Barcelona Neck Excursion. 

10AM-Noon. Meet at the Sag Harbor Golf Club parking lot on Barcelona Point Road off of Route 114, Sag Harbor. Moderately paced 4-5 mile hike with views of Sag Harbor Bay, Northwest Creek and Harbor, Cedar Point Park, and Mashomack Preserve. See bluffs and blowouts.

Sun., Feb.8-Winter Surprise Hike from Trout Pond to ?? 
10AM-Noon. Meet at Trout Pond parking lot on Noyac Road (across from Mill Road) for a moderately paced 4-mile surprise hike.

Sat., Feb.14-Flanders Loop Trail.10AM-Noon.

Meet on Red Creek Road in Hampton Bays, 100 yards from Route 24.  Fast-paced hike with numerous water views, a waterfall and several ponds. See Black Duck Lodge.

Sun., Feb.15-Valentines Day Weekend ‘Love the Ponds’ Hike.10AM-12:15PM.

Meet at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor. Moderately paced 5-mile hike with spectacular views of Long Pond, Little Long Pond, and Crooked Pond. Heavy rains cancel.

Mon., Feb.16-Mashomack Preserve. 3PM-Sunset.

Meet at 2:30 at the North Haven/Shelter Island Ferry. Moderately brisk 13-mile hike through meadows, woods, and beaches. Snow permitting. Spectacular views of north and south forks. Fast paced 13-mile hike. $5.00/person for Ferry and Preserve Donation. Leader: Chip Dineen, 631-726-2600.

 

Sat., Feb.21-Northwest Path Saunter. 9AM-11:00AM.

Meet on Sagg Road across from Widow Gavitts Road in Bridgehampton. Brisk 5-6 mile hike along a beautiful section of the Paumanok Path.

Sun., Feb.22-Long Pond Greenbelt Traverse. 9AM –11:30AM.

Meet at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor. Moderately paced hike with spectacular views of Long Pond, Little Long Pond, and Crooked Pond.

Sat., Feb.28-Fairhills to the Mulvihill Great Swamp.10 AM-2:30PM. 
Meet on Brick Kiln Road across from Bridge Hill Lane, 3/10 mile north of Scuttlehole Road, Bridgehampton.  Explore Southampton's newest trail. Unique and varied terrain with ponds and streams. Moderately paced 4-mile hike.

Sat., Feb.28- Narrow Lane Cleanup & Poxabogue Hike. 9AM-11AM. 
Help clean up the litter from our adopted road and afterwards hike the beautiful loop trail on Poxabogue Pond.  
Meet on Narrow Lane, east side of Bridgehampton Turnpike. Bring gloves.

Sun., Feb.29-Elliston Park Ramble. 10AM-Noon.

Meet at the Park entrance on Millstone Brook Road in Southampton for a moderately paced 4-mile hike with views of Wolf Swamp and Big Fresh Pond.
