Sat., May 3-Paumanok Path Traverse. 9:00AM – 1:00PM.

Meet at Sag Industries on Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, south of Mashashimuet Park, North of Clay Pit Road and 100 yards south of Carroll Street. Moderately paced hike, mildly rolling terrain. Bring lunch and liquid. See deep kettle holes and lovely Laurel Woods.

Sun., May 4-Long Pond Greenbelt Ramble. 9AM –11:30AM.

Meet at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor.  Moderately paced hike with spectacular views of Long Pond, Little Long Pond, and Crooked Pond.

Sat., May 10-Barcelona Neck Excursion.  10AM-12:30PM.

Meet at Sag Harbor Golf Club parking lot on Barcelona Point Road off of Route 114, Sag Harbor. Moderately brisk 4-5 mile hike with views of Sag Harbor Bay, Northwest Creek and Harbor, Cedar Point Park, and Mashomack Preserve.

Sun., May 11-Cranberry Bog Meander. 10AM-11AM.

Meet on Route 63 (Riverhead Moriches Road) across from Lakeview Drive in Riverhead. Easy-paced 1.5-mile interpretive hike. See carnivorous plants.

Thurs., May 15- Paumanok Path to Windmill (Whiskey) Hill Excursion. 10AM-12:30PM.

 Meet at Sag Harbor Industries on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, south of Gingerbread Bake Shop. Moderately paced 5-mile hike through oak forest with views of glacial erratics and kettleholes. Hilly terrain.

Sat., May 17-Vineyard Fields Grasslands Revitalization. 9AM on.

 Volunteer for some good hard work in the Long Pond Greenbelt. Wear gloves and long pants and sleeves.

Sun., May 18-Northwest Path Perambulation. 10AM-Noon.

Meet at intersection of Merchants Path and Wainscott Harbor Road in Bridgehampton. Brisk 5-6 mile hike.  Several hilly loops through oak forest to toyland and whale rock.

Thurs., May 22-Ruth Wales Dupont Nature Preserve Lunch Time Hike. 12:30PM-1:15PM.

Meet on end of Captain’s Neck Lane in Southampton.  Easy walk out to Shinnecock Bay. Wear long pants and rubber boots.

Sat., May 24- Narrow Lane Cleanup. 8AM-9AM.

Help us pick up the litter from our adopted road.  Meet on east side of Bridgehampton Tpke. and Narrow Lane. Bring gloves.

Sat., May 24-Mashomack Park Traverse. 9AM-3PM (4 hour hike, lunch, and optional swim).

Meet at the North Haven/Shelter Island Ferry. Moderately-brisk 13-mile hike through meadows, woods, and beaches. Spectacular views of north and south forks. Bring lunch and plenty of water, $5.00/person for Ferry and Preserve Donation.

Sun., May25-Memorial Day Hike Through Historic Sag Harbor. 12:00PM-2PM.

Meet by the windmill on Long Warf.  Learn about the historic homes of Sag Harbor.

Sat., May 31-Elliston Park Trek. 10AM-Noon.

Meet at entrance on Millstone Brook Road, Southampton for a moderately paced 3-4 mile hike. Views of Big Fresh Pond, Wolf Swamp and Scallop Pond.

Sat., May 31-Long Pond Greenbelt Horseback Ride. 10AM-Noon.

BYO Horse. Limit 6 horses. Call for reservations. Leisurely ride with views of Long Pond and Crooked Pond.
