Sun., June 1-Tuckahoe Woods Traverse. 1PM-2:30PM. Meet at Tuckahoe School on

Sebonac Road, Southampton. Brisk hike with fantastic views of Peconic Bay.

Thurs., June 5- Monthly Meeting. 7PM-9PM. Please note meeting has been changed to

the first Thursday of every month!  Meet in the lower conference room of Southampton Town Hall, 116 Hampton Road. All are welcome!

Sat., June 7-National Trails Day Bay to Ocean Hike celebrating Healthy Trails, Healthy People. 10AM. 

Park in the Municipal Parking lot and meet at the windmill on Long Wharf in Sag Harbor. Moderately paced hike through historic Sag Harbor Village to Mashashimuet Park where we will enter the

Long Pond Greenbelt nature preserve.  The Greenbelt is a unique expanse of coastal plain ponds, freshwater swamps, wetland, and woodlands.  The New York Heritage Program identifies many of the Greenbelt’s ponds, fauna, and flora as rare within New York State and worldwide.  Hike through Poxabogue County Park, a beautiful grasslands and stop for a brief look through a local art gallery.  Continue on across Montauk Highway at Sagg light and enter the beautiful farmland trails leading to Peters Pond Beach.   STPS with Janet O'Brien Caterers is supplying lunch.  Lunch will be served at the beach and Hampton Jitney will provide transportation back to cars.

Sun., June 8- Northwest Harbor Ramble. 9AM-11:30AM. Meet at intersection of

Merchants Path and Wainscott Harbor Road in Bridgehampton. Brisk 5-6 mile hike.  Several hilly loops through oak forest to toyland and whale rock.

Sat., June 14-Trout Pond/ Clam Island Perambulation. 10AM-11:30AM. Meet at

Trout Pond parking lot on Noyac Road across from Mill Road for a moderately paced 3-4 mile hike around historic Trout Pond and Clam Island County Park with views of Morton Wildlife Refuge.

Sat., June 14- Full Moon Hike to Northwest Harbor. 8PM-9:30PM. Meet on Swamp

Road approximately ½ mile east of Route 114, Sag Harbor. Moderate pace. Bring flashlight.

Sun., June 15-Barcelona Surprise.  9AM-11:30AM. Meet at Sag Harbor Golf Club

parking lot on Barcelona Point Road off of Route 114, Sag Harbor. Moderately brisk 4-5 mile hike with views of Sag Harbor Bay, Northwest Creek and Harbor, Cedar Point Park, and Mashomack Preserve.

Sat., June 21- Summer Solstice Hubbard Creek/Sears Bellows Traverse.

9AM-11AM. Meet on Red Creek Road in Hampton Bays, 100 yards from Route 24. 

Fast-paced hike with numerous water views, a waterfall and several ponds.

See Black Duck Lodge.

Sat., June 21 - Narrow Lane Cleanup. 8AM-9AM. Help pick up the litter from our adopted road.  Meet on east side of Bridgehampton Tpke. and Narrow Lane.

Bring work gloves.

Sun., June 22-Cedar Point Park Traverse. 1PM-3PM. Walk woods trail to bluff. View ponds, Cedar Point Lighthouse and Northwest Harbor. Moderately paced 3-4 mile hike.

Thurs., June 26 - Figure 8 Hike at Laurel Valley. 10AM-11:30AM. Meet at the kiosk located on Deerfield Road in Noyac across from Deerwood Path (North Side Hills). Fast-paced hike through wooded knolls and laurel-filled ravines. Hilly terrain.

Sat., June 28 -Elliston Park/Big Woods Trek. 10AM-Noon. Meet at entrance on Millstone Brook Road, Southampton for a moderately paced 3-4 mile hike.  Views of Big Fresh Pond, Wolf Swamp and Scallop Pond.

Sat., June 28-Long Pond Greenbelt Horseback Ride. 9AM-11AM. BYO Horse. Limit

6 horses. Call for reservations. Leisurely ride with views of Long and Crooked Ponds.

Sun., June 29-Dragonfly Hike in the Long Pond Greenbelt. 10AM-Noon. Easy

pace. See these jewels of the Greenbelt up close and learn about how important these mosquito eaters are to our ecosystem.
