Sat., Feb.1 – Paumanok Path to Windmill Hill Perambulation. 10AM-12:30PM (6-miles) Hilly.

Meet at Sag Harbor Industries on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, south of Gingerbread Bake Shop. Brisk hike through oak forest with views of glacial erratics and kettleholes.

Sun., Feb.2 – Search for Groundhogs in the Long Pond Greenbelt. 10AM-Noon.

Meet at Mashashamuet Park in Sag Harbor near tennis court.  Moderately paced 5 mile hike with spectacular views of Crooked and Long Ponds.

Sat., Feb.8 - Poxabogue to Crooked Pond Traverse. 12:30-2:30PM.

Meet at the entrance to Poxabogue Park on Old Farm Road in Bridgehampton just south of the RR trestle. Moderately paced 4-5 mile hike with fabulous views of Crooked and Poxabogue Ponds.

Sun., Feb.9 - Seal Haul Out Walk. 10-11:30AM.

Meet at Camp Hero Road, a right turn off Route 27, about a mile east of Deep Hollow Ranch in Montauk. Moderately paced hike through Maritime Forest. Bring your binoculars to look for seals sunning themselves on the rocks.

Meet at the kiosk located on Deerfield Road in Noyac across from Deerwood Path (North Side Hills). Fast-paced hike through wooded knolls and laurel-filled ravines. Hilly terrain.

Sun., Feb.16 - Barcelona Neck Excursion.  11AM-1:30PM.

Meet at Sag Harbor Golf Club parking lot on Barcelona Point Road off of Route 114, Sag Harbor. Fast-paced 4-5 mile hike with views of Sag Harbor Bay, Northwest Creek and Harbor, Cedar Point Park, and Mashomack Preserve.

Sat., Feb.22 - Narrow Lane Cleanup. 9AM-10AM. Help pick up the litter from our adopted road.  Meet on Narrow Lane, approx. ¼ mile east of Bridgehampton Turnpike. Bring gloves.

Sat., Feb.22 - Hubbard Creek/Sears Bellows Trek. 10AM-Noon. 

Meet on Red Creek Road in Hampton Bays, 100 yards from Route 24.  Moderately paced hike with numerous water views, a waterfall and several ponds. See Black Duck Lodge.

Sun., Feb.23 - Sarnoff Preserve Hike. 10AM-2PM.

Meet at the Preserve parking lot on the west side of County Road 104 in Riverhead (approx. 2 miles south of traffic circle).  Hike 8 miles of majestic and somewhat alien preserve. Views of beautiful Wildwood Lake. Bring lunch and water. Dress Warmly. Moderately paced hilly hike.
