Meet at the South Fork Natural History Society (SOFO) Museum parking lot on Bridgehampton Turnpike 200 yards north of the RR tracks. Fast paced 5-mile hike thru grasslands & oak forest with views of Crooked Pond & Deer Drink.

Sun.,Aug. 3-Whiskey Hill Ramble. 9AM-10AM.

Meet at end of Mill Road off of Lopers Path, Bridgehampton.  Easy paced 11/2 mile hike with ocean views from top of moraine, two kettlehole ponds and an enormous glacial erratic. Hilly terrain.

Meet at the boat ramp parking lot on Conscience Point Road off of North Sea Road in Southampton. Enjoy a shady bike ride to North Sea Bathing Beach with views of the National Golf Links. Short beach hike and climb.

Meet at Trout Pond parking lot on Noyac Road across from Mill Road for a moderately paced 3-4 mile hike around historic Trout Pond and Clam Island County Park with views of Morton Wildlife Refuge.

Sun.,Aug. 10-Fair Hills to Mulvihill Preserve Passage.

Meet on corner of Brick Kiln Road and Fair Hill Lane, 2/10 mile north of Scuttlehole Road in Bridgehampton.  Explore our newest trail through the Great Swamp.  Unique and varied terrain with pond views. Moderately paced 4-5 mile hike.

Meet at the kiosk located on Deerfield Road in Noyac across from Deerwood Path (North Side Hills). Fast-paced 3-4 mile hike through wooded knolls and laurel-filled ravines. Hilly terrain.

Help clean up the litter from our adopted road.  Meet on Narrow Lane, east side of Bridgehampton Turnpike. Bring gloves.

Sat.,Aug. 16-Barcelona Neck Excursion.  10AM-12:30PM.

Meet at Sag Harbor Golf Club parking lot on Barcelona Point Road off of Route 114, Sag Harbor. Moderately brisk 4-5 mile hike with views of Sag Harbor Bay, Northwest Creek and Harbor, Cedar Point Park, and Mashomack Preserve.

Sun.,Aug. 17-Sarnoff Preserve Traverse. 11AM-3:30PM.

Meet at the Preserve parking lot on the west side of County Road 104 in Riverhead. (From Riverhead circle take C.R. 104 south approximately 2 miles. From Sunrise Highway heading east, take Exit 63 (C.R. 31 North) to C.R. 104 North). Hike 7 miles of majestic and somewhat alien preserve. Optional swim in Wildwood Lake. Moderately paced hilly hike.

Meet at the Refuge entrance on 784 Noyac Road, Sag Harbor. Hike beautiful Jessup’s Neck with views of Great Peconic Bay. The US Fish & Wildlife Service charges a $4.00 parking fee to support this Refuge. Moderately paced beach and woods hike.
