Saturday, September 1; Zebrowski Preserve Mushroom Exploration. 10AM-Noon. Meet at the LIPA line on Brick Kiln Road. Search for mushrooms and explore Mulvihill Pond and the newly preserved Zebrowski Property in Bridgehampton. Participants are welcome to bring mushrooms for identification.

Sunday, September 2; Grace Estate Hike. 10AM-11:30AM. Meet at the schoolhouse plaque on Northwest Road, East Hampton, 3/10 mile from intersection with Alewife Road. Moderate hike with breathtaking bay views.

Saturday, September 8; Sag Harbor Historical Tour. 10AM-Noon. Meet at the windmill on Long Wharf, Sag Harbor. Take a walk through Sag Harbor’s Maritime Past. Learn about colorful captains and Sag Harbor’s surprising Japanese connection.

Sunday, September 9 - Laurel Valley Hike. 8:30AM - 10:30AM. Meet at the end of Wildwood Road off Noyac Road. Brisk hike through 3-4 miles of wooded knolls & laurel-filled ravines. Hilly terrain.

Monday, September 10; Adopt-a-Road Cleanup. 5PM-6PM. Time again to pick up our adopted road. Meet on Narrow Lane east of Bridgehampton Turnpike. Bring gloves.

Saturday, September 15; Paumanok Tree Planting. 9:00AM. Join the STPS, SH Town, and volunteers from local businesses to plant a tree screen along the Paumanok Path on North Sea Road in Southampton. Meet at the Highway Department property ½ mile from Millstone Brook Road. Bring a shovel and gloves.

Sunday, September 16; Elliston Park Ramble. 9:00AM -11:00AM. Meet at the park entrance on Millstone Brook Road, for an easy 3-5 mile hike with views of Wolf Swamp, Big Fresh Pond, and Sebonac Creek.

Saturday, September 22; Long Pond Greenbelt Traverse 10AM - Noon. Meet at parking lot in Mashashimuet Park. Brisk hike along the abandoned railroad spur with views of Long Pond, Little Long Pond, Crooked Pond, and Deer Drink.

Sunday, September 23; Flanders Gun Club Loop Trail. 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Meet on Red Creek Road in Hampton Bays, 100 yards north of Route 24. Hike our newest trail with numerous water views, including a waterfall and several ponds. See Black Duck Lodge.

Saturday, September 29; Jessup’s Neck Hike. 10:30 AM to Noon. Meet at Morton Wildlife Refuge on Noyac Road. There is a $4.00/car parking fee. Hike to the end of the peninsula and back in Little Peconic Bay.
