Hike our newest trail with numerous water views, including a waterfall and several ponds. See Black Duck Lodge. It is approx. 7 miles – light colored clothing is suggested. I for one think we owe the Southampton Trails Preservation Society and County Parks a hearty THANK YOU! for their combined efforts on this outstandingly beautiful new trail. Bring your cameras and binoculars. Ask the hike leader about the trail. He is one of the team who scouted, blazed and cut this new route.
Note to County Parks: We should erect some offset split rail fences strategically, to discourage ATV’s and dirt bikes from hurting the sensitive Hubbard and Mill Creek area.
