Back by popular demand .... the East Hampton Trail Maps!

A WEEKEND OF PLAY ON THE PATH. Visit some of the Prettiest Places on the Paumanok Path with the Southampton Trails Preservation Society at our National Trails Day Celebration, Saturday June 2 & Sunday June 3.

In a cooperative effort with East Hampton Trails Preservation Society and Long Island Greenbelt Trail Conference we are advocating the completion and protection of the Paumanok Path, a 125-mile trail running from Rocky Point to Montauk Point. Currently, Southampton Trails Preservation Society is working with the Group for the South Fork and The Nature Conservancy to complete the remaining Paumanok Path sections in Southampton Town. STPS cuts, blazes, maintains, and maps trails. We lead approximately eighty hikes per year throughout the Town of Southampton striving to educate the public on the importance of trail preservation

.

Our next meeting will be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 12, 2001 in the basement Conference Room at Southampton Town Hall, 116 Hampton Road.  All are welcome.
