Sunday, July 1- Northwest Path Walk. 4PM-6PM. Meet on Sagg Road across from Widow Gavitts Road, Sag Harbor. Fast hike in the Bridgehampton Hills on 3-4 miles of the Paumanok Path. Good workout. Leader: Dai Dayton, 631-537-0660.



Saturday, July 7 - Hampton Hills Ramble and Optional Swim. 10AM-2PM. Meet at parking lot closest to the Suffolk Community College entrance; Parking Field 1. From Sunrise Highway exit 61, travel east on C.R. 51 (Moriches-Riverhead Road) to Speonk-Riverhead Road. Turn into the Suffolk Community College eastern campus, and then make first left and then the first right into Parking Field 1. Head Northeast across parking lot to the kiosk. Or from the Riverhead traffic circle take CR63 to CR51 south. Hike 6-7 fairly challenging miles on one of the most beautiful sections of the Paumanok Path with inspiring panoramic views. Bring food and water. We will stop at Wildwood Lake for a snack and optional swim. Terrain is hilly and the pace will be moderate. Sunday, July 8-Barcelona Neck Hike. 9AM-11AM. Meet at Sag Harbor Golf Club parking lot on Barcelona Point Road off of Route 114, Sag Harbor. Moderately brisk 4-5 mile hike with views of Sag Harbor Bay, Northwest Creek and Harbor, Cedar Point Park, and Mashomack Preserve.

Saturday, July 14 - Maple Swamp Ramble. 10AM- Noon. Meet at the south end of Pleasure Drive, Hampton Bays. Hike to Sears Bellows Park. Optional second hike or swim.

Sunday, July 15 - Historic Tour of Sag Harbor. 10AM-12:30PM. Meet at the parking lot in Mashashimuet Park on corner of Jermain Ave. and Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike. Enjoy a 3-mile hike through historic Sag Harbor with stops at houses with interesting pasts from the American Revolution to present. Leader: Tony Garro, 631-725-5861.



Saturday, July 21- Laurel Valley County Park. 9AM-11AM. Meet at the kiosk on Deerfield Road, in Noyac across from Deerwood Path (North Side Hills). Hike 3-miles of wooded knolls & laurel-filled ravines. Panoramic view of Peconic Bay.

Sunday, July 22-Long Pond Greenbelt Hike. 8AM-10AM. Meet at the SOFO Museum (Vineyard Fields) north of LIRR on Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike. Moderately brisk hike through Vineyard Woods with views of ponds and wetlands.

Saturday, July 28 – Grace Estate 9AM – 11AM.  Meet at the School House Plaque on Northwest Road, East Hampton, 3/10 mile from intersection with Alewife Road.  Bay views.

Sunday, July 29- Scallop Pond Ramble. 10AM-Noon. Meet at the entrance of Elliston Park on Millstone Brook Road, Southampton for a relaxed 3-5 mile hike with views of Wolf Swamp and Big Fresh Pond. Leader: Howard Reisman, 631-283-5376.
