Saturday, August 7 - Morton National Wildlife Refuge. We will feed the chickadees. They land on your fingers and eat out of your palm. Ken will bring the sunflower seeds. Optional second hike in nearby Laurel Valley Park. Meet at parking lot on Noyac Road at 10:00 AM.

Saturday, August 28 - Tuckahoe Hills. Meet at Tuckahoe School in Southampton. Parking lot located on corner of Magee Street and Sebonac Road (Magee Street North off Rt. 27). Optional swim in Big Fresh Pond. Meet at 9:30 AM.

Saturday, September 11 - Shinnecock Hills Grasslands. Meet at the Southampton College Railroad Station at 9:00.

Sunday, September 19 - Laurel Valley Park. Join Dai on a walk through one of nature’s gems. Explore a mildly rolling terrain and experience a wide variety of plant and animal life. Meet on Deerfield Road opposite the entrance to North Side Hills at 10:00 AM.

Saturday & Sunday, October 23 & 24 – South Fork Trails Weekend. Activities to be announced. Focus will be on the trails of Southampton and on the continued progress of the Paumanok Path in Eastern Southampton.


Sunday, November 7 – Hubbard Creek County Park.  Meet at the Jackson Avenue Community Center off of Route 24, Hampton Bays at 10:00AM

Friday, November 26 – The Annual Walk it Off Walk. A brisk hike through the Long Pond Greenbelt to walk off that Thanksgiving Feast!  Meet at the old winery (soon to be the sight of the South Fork Natural History Museum) on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike at 10:00 AM.

Sunday, December 12 – Laurel Valley County Park.  Meet opposite the entrance of North Side Hills on Deerfield Road, (just south of the Noyac Road intersection) at 10 AM.  Approx. 1 ½ hours.

Sunday, December 19 – Long Pond Greenbelt.  Meet at theGingerbread Bake Shop on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike at 10:00AM.
